8Wonder announces full lineup

The organizers of 8Wonder – Moments of Wonder have just unexpectedly announced the full lineup, introduced the Wonder Sound Lab playground and the "top-notch" Collaboration between Vietnamese artists and world-famous artists that has fans in a frenzy.

On the afternoon of August 18, the official fanpage of the super music festival 8Wonder – Moments of Wonder 2025 suddenly released the full lineup, social networks almost “exploded” because of the coolness of this year's lineup. From global names such as DJ Snake, J Balvin, The Kid Laroi, DPR Ian to Vietnamese representatives Soobin and Hoa Minzy, the exciting atmosphere was already very hot but everything really “blew up” when two new names: tlinh and Trong Hieu were announced.

Possessing explosive stage energy, Trong Hieu will appear for the first time at 8Wonder with hits that are modern and full of Gen Z spirit. Thanks to his captivating performance ability, international style and outstanding audience connection skills, he promises to stir up the space at the National Exhibition Center with a "can't take your eyes off" performance, full of vitality and inspiration.

Meanwhile, tlinh - a unique and individual Gen Z female rapper will be the first Vietnamese artist to participate in the Wonder Sound Lab project - considered a music "laboratory" and also the creative launch pad of 8WONDER, Wonder Sound Lab opens the journey to create musical wonders.

According to the Organizing Committee, the project is a place where Vietnamese music is experimented, innovated and blended with the quintessence of international artists, bringing pioneering collaborations for the first time in the history of Vietnamese music. That means, Wonder Sound Lab will mark the first time a Vietnamese artist officially collaborates with an international star right on the stage of a music festival in their home country.

The organizers have not revealed which international stars will share the stage with tlinh, but the unprecedented "twist" has made the audience restless, quickly fueling excitement in the music-loving community: "No need to fly to Coachella or Lollapalooza anymore, Dong Anh is the center of world music right now."

Besides, there are many proud audiences because: "I went to see it not only because of DPR Ian, but because it was the first time I saw Vietnamese people on the same stage, with the same vibe as world stars. So proud!". "Witnessing Vietnamese artists singing with international stars on the best stage ever, I can see that Vietnamese music has truly reached a new level".

Turning point of Vietnamese music

Looking back, we can see that in recent years, there have been quite a few international stars performing in Vietnam, such as BlackPink, Charlie Puth, Imagine Dragons, Ronan Keating, Backstreet Boys, Michael Learns to Rock... but they usually perform with their "original" music set.

Collaborations between Vietnamese artists and international artists, if any, are mostly in the form of a combination in a certain MV/album project. Son Tung M-TP's MV "Hay trao cho anh" released in 2019 in collaboration with Snoop Dogg is an example.

The event of tlinh - a young artist of the 2k generation of Vietnam performing and collaborating directly with the world's top star on the 8Wonder stage is not only an exciting artistic highlight, but also a milestone with many layers of meaning.

The moment a young Vietnamese artist stands next to an international artist in a music festival held in his own country not only satisfies the audience's desire, but also opens up greater expectations: that this will be the beginning of a new Vietnam on the international music map, where Vietnamese artists are not only known but also welcomed and collaborated with as true colleagues.

The 8Wonder 2015: Moments of Wonder music festival will take place on August 23 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Tu Lien Bridge Street, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi ), bringing together famous international artists such as DJ Snake (Europe), J Balvin (America), The Kid LAROI (Australia) and DPR IAN (Korea). On the Vietnamese side, there will be Soobin and Hoa Minzy.
