Tam Thanh Border Guard Station propagates the law to people in border areas Officers and soldiers of Tam Thanh Border Post coordinated with Border Guard Company 216 (Laos) to conduct bilateral patrols and inspect border markers.

In the area of 2 communes managed by Tam Thanh Border Guard Station, there are 2,190 households, with 10,583 people. The households living here are mainly Thai and Muong ethnic groups. Determining that propaganda, dissemination and legal education for people is an important factor contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety, promoting effective and sustainable socio-economic development, the Party Committee and Command of Tam Thanh Border Guard Station have focused on leading and directing teams, stations, especially the mass mobilization team to promote propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, directives, resolutions, plans and instructions from superiors on border work. The content of propaganda for the people focuses on the Vietnam Border Guard Law and detailed regulations; Directive No. 01/2015/CT-TTg dated January 9, 2015 of the Prime Minister on organizing the movement of the entire people to participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation; Decree No. 34/2014/ND-CP dated April 29, 2014 of the Government on the regulations on land border areas of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Law on Drug Prevention and Control and Forest Fire Prevention and Control...

The station also actively coordinated with local authorities to successfully organize many dialogue conferences with the people. Through these dialogue conferences, people had the opportunity to express their thoughts and aspirations. Local authorities, border guards and functional forces directly listened to and satisfactorily answered the people's legitimate rights, obligations and interests. Since then, the legal awareness of people in border areas has been raised, and the situation of law violations has significantly decreased.

Since the beginning of 2025, Tam Thanh Border Guard Station has coordinated with local authorities and functional forces to organize 16 sessions of propaganda on the Party's and State's guidelines, policies, laws, border area regulations, and Government decrees, with 1,221 listeners. At the same time, propaganda on the loudspeaker system about Decree No. 137/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020 of the Government on the management and use of fireworks has been conducted for 14 sessions, with a duration of 210 minutes. Coordinated with Border Guard Company 216 (Laos) to conduct bilateral patrols twice, with 24 officers and soldiers participating; coordinated with forest rangers, police, and militia to conduct unilateral patrols 24 times, with 144 participants.

Along with that, the unit continues to effectively implement Directive No. 681-CT/DU dated October 29, 2018 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee; Resolution No. 324-NQ/DU dated December 6, 2018 of the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee on assigning border guard station party members to be in charge of households in border areas. Accordingly, the unit maintains the assignment of 22 party members to be in charge of 80 households in border villages. Along with that, officers and soldiers of the unit have contributed 24 working days to build and repair houses for poor households, policy families, and households with housing difficulties in the stationed area. Support money was given to 5 students under the program "Helping children go to school", including 1 Lao student; 1 student is "Border Guard Station's adopted child" with a support amount of 4.5 million VND/child/year...

Through the propaganda, dissemination and legal education of Tam Thanh Border Guard Station, people in the border area increasingly understand and raise their awareness of law compliance, contributing to maintaining security and order, building a strong border area. People always trust, are active and ready to join the border guards in firmly protecting national border sovereignty .
