She measured her blood pressure and found it was high. She took blood pressure medication but it did not help. That evening, she started having a continuous fever accompanied by body aches, sneezing, runny nose, sore throat, cough with phlegm... but had no difficulty breathing.
At 2:00 a.m. on July 19, 2025, her family took Ms. Trieu Thi S. to Bac Kan General Hospital for examination and treatment. On the afternoon of July 20, 2025, the patient had a high fever and was lethargic. The patient was transferred to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases on July 21, 2025. After her condition improved, her family took her back to Bac Kan General Hospital for treatment and recovery.
