Vinh Long signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen management and development of Internet resources.

On the morning of August 19, the Department of Science and Technology of Vinh Long province coordinated with the Vietnam Internet Center, Ho Chi Minh City branch, to organize a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement to strengthen the management and development of Internet resources in Vinh Long province.

At the ceremony, the two units agreed to sign a cooperation agreement revolving around the following contents: Coordinating the implementation of management, inspection and supervision activities for the effective use of national Internet resources; promoting the use of the national domain name “.vn” through the effective implementation of key programs; supporting people, businesses and business households to have a reliable and safe online presence with digital services using the national domain name “.vn;

In particular, focusing on promoting application deployment, converting information technology infrastructure, connecting the Internet to the new generation IPv6, developing industrial Internet, Internet of Things (LoT) ... At the same time, supporting the planning of connecting Vinh Long province's network infrastructure to the national Internet transit point system to ensure sustainable development; developing the VNIX member ecosystem at the provincial level.

The signing of cooperation agreements plays an important role in enhancing coordination in management and promoting the use of local Internet resources, ensuring efficiency and synchronization, serving the goal of developing digital infrastructure, digital transformation, digital economy and digital society according to the Government's orientation.
