Excluding the disruption period due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NZSS has awarded more than 70 scholarships, opening up opportunities for comprehensive study and development in New Zealand for talented students across Vietnam.

According to Mr. Ben Burrowes, Regional Director for Asia, Education New Zealand, New Zealand is consistently ranked as one of the most peaceful countries in the world.

“We are proud to see so many NZSS alumni achieving success and making meaningful contributions to our economy and community. These achievements reflect both their talent and the opportunities provided by the NZSS scholarship programme.

“We are confident that the young people who receive scholarships today will follow in their footsteps. This is not only the beginning of their journey to a new land, but also the beginning of a lasting connection with New Zealand,” said Mr. Ben Burrowes.

Over the years, NZSS has not only helped Vietnamese students achieve their dreams of accessing New Zealand’s world-class education right from high school, but has also contributed to building a close-knit community between young people from Vietnam and New Zealand. With a solid foundation, NZSS continues to accompany generations of Vietnamese students, opening up new opportunities, helping them go further on their journey of learning and growing up.
