Regarding the dividend payment plan, Vinaship will pay 2024 cash dividends at a rate of 6%, equivalent to shareholders owning 1 share will receive 600 VND and the expected payment date is October 20, 2025. Of which, with nearly 34 million outstanding shares, it is estimated that Vinaship will pay a total of nearly 20.4 billion VND to shareholders in the upcoming dividend payment.

Vinaship also wants to ask shareholders for their opinions on the sale of a ship in 2025, the Vinaship Sea, with a capacity of 27,841 DWT, built in 1998 in Japan. Vinaship will collect opinions from July 18 to August 5 for this content.

Previously, the Company's 2025 General Meeting of Shareholders at the end of April approved the plan to liquidate the dry cargo ship Vinaship Pearl, 24,241 DWT, built in 1996.

In 2024, Vinaship successfully sold 2 ships. The first ship was Vinaship Star, with a capacity of 23,949 DWT, built in 1996, with a selling price of 2.65 million USD, equivalent to 67.17 billion VND. The second ship was Vinaship Diamond, with a capacity of 24,034 DWT, also built in 1996, with a selling price of 62 billion VND.

On the contrary, this year, Vinaship wants to invest in 2 used dry cargo ships, with a capacity of 28,000 - 35,000 DWT, built in 2008 - 2014, with a total estimated investment of about 13 million USD. The implementation period is from the second quarter of 2025 to the 2026 General Meeting of Shareholders, if all goes well. Of which, the Company plans to use 40 - 50% from its own capital and 50 - 60% from bank loans.

Regarding the medium and long-term development plan, Vinaship said it will continue to focus on the goal of maintaining stable fleet operations and completing annual plan targets. At the same time, it will maintain the transportation of some groups of goods such as cement, clinker, coal, agricultural products, fertilizers, flexibly combining forms of leasing (trip, COA, long-term, term voyage...), combining the Company's ships and outsourced ships when implementing transportation contracts, increasing the scale and improving the quality of outsourcing activities.

Regarding business performance, in the first quarter of 2025, Vinaship recorded revenue of VND 127.4 billion, down nearly 5% over the same period last year, but after-tax profit dropped sharply by nearly 70%, to approximately VND 83 million.

Vinaship said that in the first quarter, the business results of the fleet were affected because the long Tet holiday limited commercial activities, low transportation demand, and freight rates for some traditional products exploited by the company decreased sharply. The company also had 1 ship undergoing periodic repairs, so the exploitation time was shortened. In addition, during the period, the company did not have any significant profits and other incomes as in the same period, leading to a decrease in profits.

It is known that in 2025, Vinaship plans to have a revenue of 745 billion VND, with an expected pre-tax profit of 117.5 billion VND. Thus, ending the first quarter of 2025 with a pre-tax profit of 0.11 billion VND, Vinaship has only completed 0.1% of the profit plan of 117.5 billion VND in 2025.
