Vietnam wishes to continue substantive and effective cooperation with Russia.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the Vietnamese people always remember the wholehearted support and assistance that the brotherly Russian people gave Vietnam in the past struggle for national liberation and reunification and in the current cause of national construction and development.

The Prime Minister stressed that Vietnam always attaches importance to the comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia, considering Russia one of its top priority partners and wishes to continue substantive and effective cooperation with Russia in all fields, for the common interests of the two peoples, for peace , stability and development in the region and the world.

The Head of Government assessed that Samsung Group's projects in Vietnam have rapid disbursement progress, contributing to economic restructuring, promoting exports, developing supporting industries, creating jobs, and contributing to Vietnam's economic development; and welcomed Samsung's investment in research, development, and human resource training in Vietnam.

The Prime Minister hopes that Samsung will continue to consider Vietnam as a strategic production base, researching, developing and manufacturing key products for the international market; and request Samsung to train and arrange Vietnamese personnel to participate in the leadership of the Samsung Complex in Vietnam.

Agreeing with the Prime Minister's opinions, Mr. Park Hark-kyu pledged that he and Samsung will continue to accompany Vietnam on the path of development.
