According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, on June 13, in response to a reporter's question asking about Vietnam's reaction to the recent escalation of tensions in the Middle East, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Pham Thu Hang stated:

“Vietnam is deeply concerned about the current tense situation in the Middle East and condemns dangerous escalations, use of force, violations of international law, the United Nations Charter, and violations of national sovereignty .
We call on relevant parties to exercise restraint, not to take actions that escalate tensions, to resolve disagreements by peaceful means, to strictly comply with international law, the Charter and relevant resolutions of the United Nations, to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries, and to create favorable conditions for ongoing peace negotiations, for security, safety, peace and stability in the region and the world."
On the same day, in the face of escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised Vietnamese citizens not to travel to Israel and Iran unless absolutely necessary.
At present, Vietnamese citizens living, studying and working in Israel and Iran need to comply with regulations and instructions on security and safety measures of local authorities; regularly keep in touch and closely monitor warning information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel and Iran; and prepare plans to safely evacuate people and property to a third country or to Vietnam.
