According to VNA correspondents in Central and Eastern Europe, on November 24, the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary participated in the 13th Diplomatic Charity Fair organized by the Budapest Diplomatic Wives Association.

The event took place at the Balna Defense Center Budapest under the patronage of the wife of the Hungarian Foreign Minister Szilvia Szijjártó-Nagy.

This is an annual event of the diplomatic corps with the aim of bringing a unique, colorful space with rich cultural and artistic programs and diverse cuisine from countries around the world , displaying and selling typical products of each country to raise funds through Hungarian charities to support disadvantaged, disabled and autistic children.

This year's fair was attended by more than 20 embassies and foreign businesses in Budapest, attracting hundreds of diplomats, experts, media and a large number of Hungarian people, creating a vibrant and impressive event.

Having become a tradition for many years, the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary continues to participate, this time expanding with 2 booths introducing souvenirs, traditional handicrafts and a culinary booth introducing products that have become Vietnamese brands, including fried spring rolls and iced milk coffee.

The handicraft booth of the Vietnamese Embassy attracted many visitors, as well as local media to visit, bring news and images about Vietnam to Hungarian and international friends.

The booth of the Vietnamese Embassy left an impression with the image of Ao Dai, the warm welcome, attractive cuisine and many souvenirs such as tourist maps, images of Vietnam's seas and islands, information on socio-economic investment of Vietnam and its provinces.

At the end of the program, the Vietnamese Embassy donated most of the day's revenue through the Organizing Committee to Hungarian charities, including the Together for Autism Fund, the Cultural Fund to Support People with Disabilities, and the Mohamano Fund to Support Children's Social Integration.

The Diplomatic Charity Fair is an opportunity for the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary to contribute to building the image of a Vietnam that is ready to join hands to share difficulties, turn the dreams of children in need of support into reality, while integrating foreign information dissemination activities, introducing the image of the country and people of Vietnam as friendly and hospitable in the eyes of the Diplomatic Corps, Hungarian and international friends./.
