(NADS) - On the morning of April 9, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) and TechCity Technology Company introduced and launched the "Vietnam Photo Storage and Distribution Platform" testing a digital photo trading floor with the domain name photo.vietnam.vn.
To solve the output needs for photographic products of photographers, photographers and the commercial market for photographic products nationwide, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists cooperated with TechCity Technology Company https://www.techcity.cloud/ to build "Vietnam Photo Storage and Distribution Platform", an online photo storage and commercial distribution system in cyberspace for the purpose of storing, exhibiting and trading photos in cyberspace.
After more than 3 months of implementation, the project "Vietnam Photo Storage and Distribution Platform - photo.vietnam.vn" has basically completed and put into trial operation.
Every year, the Association organizes and coordinates the organization of many photo contests. The number of photos each year that authors submit to participate in the contests is at least 40 - 50,000 photo files. That is not to mention the source of documents that authors keep on their own hard drives. While the output of photography is still limited, only a few authors can sell photos and earn income, living from photography. On the other hand, in Vietnam there is no market for photography. For that reason, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists has implemented this digital photo trading platform project. In the immediate future, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists hopes to digitize all photos in the Association's data warehouse to cyberspace. Next, the Association will aim to widely disseminate this platform to more than 1,000 members and then the public and users nationwide.
Vietnam photo storage and distribution platform photo.vietnam.vn with a modern, simple, easy-to-use interface, promises to meet the market's needs for a platform for Vietnamese and international users to find and buy beautiful pictures of Vietnam, the country, and its people.
This is a pioneering project that helps semi-professional, professional and public photographers have more opportunities to exchange and increase income from providing their images and products to customers not only throughout Vietnam but also around the world.
