At the meeting, the leaders of the Officeof the President reported to the President on the results of work in June and proposed key directions and tasks in the coming time.

Accordingly, under the close and comprehensive leadership and direction of the President and Vice President, and the proactive coordination of the work of the Office's leaders, all cadres and civil servants have united and made efforts to successfully complete assigned tasks, achieving very remarkable results.

The Office has promoted the spirit of initiative in research, consulting, and serving the President and Vice President to well perform their duties and powers according to the provisions of the Constitution, laws, and assignments of the Party; major and key tasks of the Central Committee, the Politburo , and the Secretariat, thereby contributing to effectively implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; consolidating national defense and security; strengthening and expanding foreign relations; promoting the completion of synchronous institutions, removing difficulties and bottlenecks, and unblocking resources to develop a rich, prosperous, civilized, and happy country in the new era.

After listening to the report and comments, President Luong Cuong highly appreciated the efforts of the Office of the President in proactively planning and preparing timely and thoughtful content.

The President said that in the context of many new, rapid and complicated developments in the world and the region, under the leadership of the Party and the efforts of the entire political system and the people, our country is urgently and resolutely implementing major policies of turning point significance to bring the country into a new era of strong and prosperous development. The Office needs to promote the sense of responsibility, proactiveness, solidarity, and close coordination with departments, ministries, branches and localities, and make efforts to advise and serve the President and Vice President to effectively implement the proposed work programs and plans, ensuring quality and efficiency.

The President acknowledged and commended the Office of the President for advising and submitting to the State leaders for timely rewards for collectives and individuals to be honored at important events; rewards to serve the arrangement and streamlining of the political system's apparatus, and the implementation of the 2-level local government model.

The Office also coordinated to serve the President in chairing the 6th meeting of the National Defense and Security Council; attending the conference reviewing the work of the first 6 months of the year of the Central Military Commission and the Central Public Security Party Committee; as well as a number of important foreign affairs activities.

In addition, the Office of the President successfully organized the 9th Congress of the Office of the President's Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term in accordance with the direction and approval of the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies.

Along with that, the President also pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations in advisory work, thereby requiring continued innovation and quality improvement to meet the requirements of State leaders.

Regarding the direction and tasks in the coming time, the President noted that, in addition to opportunities and advantages, it is forecasted that many difficulties and challenges will arise related to the organization and operation of the new government model and the large amount of work; requiring the Office of the President to maximize the spirit of initiative and flexibility in building programs and plans; at the same time, actively grasp the situation, research and coordinate, and prepare to promptly advise on practical and in-depth contents, ensuring the progress and quality of work serving the Party and State leaders.

The President emphasized that many important activities will take place in the coming time, including the official operation of the two-level local government model from July 1, 2025; Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Party Congress will continue to be held in many agencies and localities; the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day will be celebrated on July 27; the whole country is focusing on preparing for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

That context requires the continued promotion of the President and Vice President's internal and external activities to promptly direct and motivate ministries, branches, localities, cadres and people of all walks of life when the two-level government model officially comes into operation; promote the strength of national solidarity, promote internal resources, mobilize external resources, maintain a peaceful and stable environment for rapid and sustainable national development. The President requested the Office to promptly develop a specific work program, clearly assign tasks, promote close coordination within and outside the agency, and the sense of responsibility of each individual.
