Vietnam U19 women's team meets Thailand in the final of the Southeast Asian tournament

VHO - In the semi-final match of the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Football Championship taking place on the evening of June 16 at Thong Nhat Stadium (Ho Chi Minh City), the Vietnam U19 women's football team won a resounding 4-0 victory over Indonesia U19 women's football team to enter the final.

Vietnam U19 women's team finished the group stage with 3 wins, 9 points, scored 16 goals and did not concede any.

The goal of the U19 women's team of Indonesia was always in an alarming state in the first half.

Coach Okiyama Masahiko's team topped the group and met the Indonesian U19 women's team, the second team in group A.

After only 45 minutes of the first half, the Vietnam U19 women's team scored 3 goals against the opponent thanks to Hong Minh, Hoai Trinh and Hoang Van.

Due to rainy weather conditions, the coaching staff of the Vietnam U19 women's team made certain adjustments to maintain the final match.

In the second half, Vietnam U19 women's team had another goal from Hong Van to seal the 4-0 victory.

With this goal, Hoang Van had a double for himself in the match.

The joy of the host girls

With a convincing performance, the Vietnam U19 women's team continued to extend their winning streak in the tournament, scoring a total of 20 goals and not conceding any.

In the previous semi-final, Thailand U19 women's team had a resounding 5-1 victory over Myanmar U19 to win a ticket to the final.

Thus, the final match of the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Football Championship will be a clash between Vietnam U19 Women and Thailand U19 Women.

The final match of the tournament will take place at 6:30 p.m. on June 18 at Thong Nhat Stadium.

Before that, the third place match will take place at 3:00 p.m. between Myanmar U19 women and Indonesia U19 women.
