The relic has been kept for 34 years at the State Bank of Ho Chi Minh City. On this occasion, it was solemnly invited to the Vietnam Quoc Tu Pagoda (District 10, Ho Chi Minh City) for people to worship.

Previously, on May 2, 2025, the Buddha Shakyamuni's relics were invited from India to Ho Chi Minh City by private jet.
