According to the reporter's records, recently, the bustling Hue street with its shops, located in the most expensive location in Hanoi, has become gloomy. Every 3-4 houses, one house is closed, hanging a "for rent" sign, some adjacent houses are "closed", silent for a long time, waiting for tenants.

Ms. Hoa, the owner of a two-story space of more than 50 square meters, said that the space has been closed for two months and no one has rented it. "Before Tet, many people asked to rent it for 30 million VND/m2, but after Tet, businesses returned the space, so I reduced it to 20 million VND/m2 but no one has rented it yet," Ms. Hoa shared.

Many people living in the area said that this sluggish situation has been going on since the end of 2023. Some households were lucky enough to find tenants, but the rest were closed and the premises were left empty with signs for rent.

Hue Street is known as the most expensive street in Hanoi, located in a prime location, a bustling business area, the premises "even if you have money you can't rent" are now deserted, with no tenants.

Three consecutive premises with wide frontage on Hue Street were simultaneously closed, with signs hanging up saying "store for rent".

Every 3-4 houses on this expensive street, there is one house with a "for rent" sign.

A space with a "for rent" sign has become a parking lot for businesses next door.

A space for rent with a price of 200-500 million VND/month depending on the area of use is waiting for a tenant.

Ms. Nga, a clothing retailer, shared: "The premises on Hue Street are expensive, the costs are high, and moreover, after the COVID-19 pandemic, consumers have switched to online shopping, so it is very difficult to do business here."

It is known that the current rental price of premises is quite cheap compared to other central streets to attract investment, but it is still sluggish, waiting for tenants.

A store has closed, abandoned the premises, the store sign has signs of deterioration.

An office building for rent in a beautiful location with an area of 135m2/floor and a rental price of hundreds of millions/month is in a slump.
