In the third match of Group G of the Women's Volleyball World Cup in Thailand, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team lost 0-3 to Kenya. Thus, we have closed this tournament with three consecutive losses.

Although they did not get any points, coach Tuan Kiet and his team gained valuable experience in their first time participating in the world tournament.
However, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has fallen very low in the rankings of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). Specifically, after the 0-3 loss to Kenya, Thanh Thuy and her teammates were deducted 12.77 points.
Previously, we were deducted 6.26 points after losing 0-3 to Germany and lost 0.01 points after losing 1-3 to Poland.
Thus, after this tournament, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team was deducted a total of 19.04 points. We fell from 22nd to 28th place in the world with 136.75 points.

On the other hand, Kenya jumped from 27th to 21st after being awarded 12.77 points following their victory over the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
In Southeast Asia, Thailand is the only team to qualify for the round of 16 at the world tournament. The Golden Temple team has risen to 18th place in the world. Before the tournament, Thailand was ranked 21st, 1 place higher than the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
Thus, at this time, the hope of catching up with Thailand on the world rankings is increasingly distant for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
