papelucho First published in 1947 and completed in 1974, the series chronicles the adventures of a young boy, Papelucho, who is full of energy, thoughtfulness, humor, and imagination. He is not afraid to get into trouble, and from there comes up with unusual solutions.

The author of the series - writer Marcela Paz - portrays a new image of childhood through a critical and profound tone about the family and society of that time. In the story, adults listen to children's thoughts and respect their opinions, something that had never been emphasized before.
