After a 0-2 defeat to the Philippines 3 days ago, U23 Malaysia was under pressure to win when facing U23 Brunei. U23 Malaysia rushed forward to press the field and in the 3rd minute, they made the opponent's net shake when Syamer jumped high to head the ball, opening the score of the match.
Just one minute later, U23 Malaysia doubled the gap. Arshad passed the ball awkwardly, and Aiman from U23 Brunei, in an attempt to block it, unfortunately scored an own goal.
In the 32nd minute, Bin Rosli crossed the ball, Haizon finished accurately, raising the score to 3-0 for U23 Malaysia. Before the end of the first half, U23 Malaysia scored the 4th goal, Bin Rosli scored after a good pass with Syamer.
