Tracing origin, applying artificial intelligence in state management and business

On the morning of June 17, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with relevant units to organize a training conference on traceability and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in state management and business activities. Nearly 130 delegates representing state management agencies, enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in the province attended the conference.

Opening the training course, Mr. Nguyen Hai Trieu, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, informed that in the context of digital transformation taking place strongly around the world, product traceability and artificial intelligence application not only help improve the efficiency of state management but are also the key for businesses to improve their competitiveness, meeting the increasingly high requirements of the domestic and international markets. In particular, new regulations on product traceability and standardization are increasingly being tightened, requiring businesses, cooperatives, and business households to proactively update and apply technology to integrate more deeply into the global supply chain.

Within the framework of the conference, delegates were informed about many contents about the national traceability system, the objectives, structure and development roadmap of the system; methods of implementation and construction of a traceability system for products in accordance with national standards and Circular 02/2024/TT- BKHCN dated March 28, 2024 of the Ministry of Science and Technology regulating the management of traceability of products and goods. Delegates were also shared by experts about trade connection, export and import activities through traceability; were guided on the application of artificial intelligence in state management, business and sales activities, helping to save costs and create competitive advantages in the market.
