Schools in Hanoi prepare for 10th grade entrance exams

Schools in Hanoi are getting ready for the 10th grade entrance exam.

The 10th grade entrance exam for public high schools in Hanoi for the 2023-2024 school year will be held with 3 subjects: Math, Literature, and Foreign Language. The exam will take place on June 10 and 11.

According to VTC News reporters on June 8 at Thai Thinh Secondary School (Dong Da District, Hanoi), the school's staff, teachers and employees were busy cleaning the classrooms to prepare to welcome students to complete procedures.

The test site has 397 candidates and 18 official test rooms. In addition, the test site also has 2 backup test rooms, arranged waiting rooms and isolation rooms according to regulations.

Ms. Pham Thu Thuy - Vice Principal of Thai Thinh Secondary School, Deputy Head of Thai Thinh Secondary School Examination Site (Dong Da District, Hanoi) said that up to this point, all preparations for this year's exam have been completed in accordance with the instructions of the Department of Education and Training.

"The testing site received coordination from units to ensure safety inside and outside the testing room. We proactively checked and reviewed all equipment to avoid incidents during the exam," Ms. Thuy shared.

Candidates showing signs of cough and fever will be isolated to take the test and closely monitored by the ward medical staff.

At the examination site of Phan Dinh Phung High School (Ba Dinh District), preparations are also underway.

This testing site includes 25 rooms, 2 spare rooms with about 600 candidates participating.

At the exam site of Quang Trung High School (Dong Da district), school staff and teachers were also busy cleaning the entire school campus on June 8.

All examination rooms are arranged with 24 tables and chairs, enough for 24 candidates to sit independently to ensure proper distancing.
