On the morning of June 20, the University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced tuition fees and tuition increase roadmap for the 2025 regular university enrollment period, along with tuition support and scholarship programs.

Big difference in tuition fees between Vietnamese and English programs

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Cong Gia Khanh - Principal of the University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) - said: "Starting from the 2025-2026 school year, the school's tuition fees applied for the 2025 enrollment period will be differentiated according to the language of instruction (Vietnamese and English).

The school announces the specific tuition fees for the entire course along with the annual tuition increase schedule and collection time for candidates and parents to clearly understand. At the same time, the school also announces many scholarship policies, tuition exemptions and preferential loans for students.

According to the tuition information for the 2025 enrollment period that the school has just announced, the tuition fees for the two training programs have a big difference: the Vietnamese-language teaching and learning program has a full-course tuition fee of 151 million VND, and the English-language teaching and learning program has a full-course tuition fee of 315 million VND.

Special tuition policy for Co-operative Education program

In 2025, University of Economics and Law will enroll 15 majors, with 24 majors/specializations taught in Vietnamese and 9 majors/specializations taught in English.

The school continues to enroll students in the Co-operative Education program in two majors: financial technology and management information systems.

According to principal Hoang Cong Gia Khanh, the special feature of the Co-operative Education program is that teaching combines regular study semesters with some internships or participation as an official employee, and students can even be paid depending on their position, ability and the requirements of the business.

In the first year, Co-op students have practical experience equivalent to 3rd and 4th year students.

"This is a program with a new training method compared to traditional training models. This teaching and learning method helps learners increase their practical knowledge and necessary skills when working in a business.

Thanks to that, students can easily find good jobs with high salaries after graduation because they have solid knowledge, professional working attitude, and meet practical needs very well.

To attract the attention of parents and students, the school commits that the tuition fee for the 2025 enrollment course will remain the same as the tuition fee for the Vietnamese-language program," Mr. Khanh added.

Financial support for students

The school has also announced a series of scholarship policies, tuition exemptions and preferential loans for students in 2025. Various types of scholarships are available to many subjects with a total value of tens of billions of VND each year.

Admission scholarships for valedictorians and disadvantaged students. Specifically, 2 scholarships of 50% of tuition fees for valedictorians based on high school graduation exam scores and Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam scores; 1 scholarship of 100% of tuition fees for admitted candidates with especially difficult circumstances; 8 scholarships for admitted candidates with difficult circumstances admitted to the school worth 15 million VND/scholarship.

Study encouragement scholarship (worth up to 121% of tuition fee) from 8% of tuition fee per academic year (about 18 billion VND/academic year).

Scholarships funded by foreign partners, organizations, and businesses for students with good academic performance and extracurricular activities/disadvantaged students.

Scholarships for students to study abroad.

Scholarships funded from sources implemented by Ho Chi Minh City National University.

UEL Alumni Scholarship to support students with special difficulties.
