Accordingly, the IT class of the High School for Natural Sciences has a standard score of 19.5.
Other specialized classes such as math, chemistry, physics, and biology are being announced by the school one by one.
In the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, the High School for Natural Sciences will enroll students who graduated from junior high school in 2025 nationwide. The first condition is that the student's academic and training results for the entire school year of junior high school classes must be at least good.
This year, the school's total enrollment target is 525 students. Specifically, the specialized math, information technology, physics, chemistry, and biology classes each enroll 105 students.
All candidates registering for the school entrance exam must take a general exam in three subjects: literature, math and English, then take an additional exam in the specialized subject corresponding to the specialized class they have registered for.
Admission scores to the High School for Natural Sciences are calculated according to the formula: General math score + specialized subject score x 2.
In addition to the admission requirements, candidates must have a score of 4 or higher in all subjects. The score in Literature and English (common subjects) is an admission requirement and is not used to calculate the admission score. The school does not add priority points or incentive points.
In 2025, the School of Natural Sciences will have 3,000 candidates. The competition ratio between the specialized math and specialized IT classes will be reversed.
This year, 855 candidates registered to take the IT major exam, pushing the competition ratio of this block to the highest level, at 1/8.1 (meaning 8 candidates take the exam, only 1 is accepted).
The Math block ranked second with 603 applications, the competition ratio was 1/5.7.
Ranked 3rd is chemistry with a competition ratio of 1/5.6. Ranked 4th is physics with a competition ratio of 1/5.1. Biology has the lowest competition ratio, at 1/3.9.
