Cao Thang Technical College announced the 2025 transcript benchmark score: Highest 30.5

On June 11, Cao Thang Technical College (HCMC) announced the results of admission based on high school transcripts in 2025.

This year, the benchmark scores of Cao Thang Technical College for each major range from 15 to 30.5 points (total score of 2 semesters of grade 11 and grade 12), depending on the major. This is one of the first admission rounds of the technical college block to announce detailed benchmark scores this year.

Candidates are considered for admission based on the total score of 3 subjects, including math, combined with two of the following subjects: physics, chemistry, literature, English, information technology or technology, according to their grade 11 and grade 12 transcripts. Math is multiplied by a coefficient of 2.

According to the announced results, the automotive engineering technology industry continues to hold the "top position" with the highest benchmark score of 30.5 points.

Next are industries such as auto maintenance and repair (26.5 points), mechanical engineering technology (25 points), control and automation engineering technology (24.5 points), information technology (24 points)...

In general, in the mechanical - electrical - electronic - high-tech industry group, most industries have a benchmark score of 20 points or more.

Some majors have lower scores such as computer accounting (22 points), electronic and telecommunications engineering technology (20.5 points), industrial electricity (20 points), computer repair and assembly engineering (20 points)...

Successful candidates need to confirm their enrollment and pay the first semester tuition fee between June 12 and July 4, 2025, in two forms:

- Directly at Cao Thang Technical College (65 Huynh Thuc Khang, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, HCMC).

After completing enrollment, students will receive an account to access the student portal, update their timetable, study plan and other announcements from the school.

Cao Thang Technical College will also continue to accept additional high school transcript applications for majors with remaining quotas, provided that the admission score reaches the announced standard score.

College admission according to Circular 05

According to the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training on college level enrollment guidelines in 2025, college level enrollment in 2025 will continue to be implemented according to Circular No. 05 of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, regulating enrollment regulations and determining enrollment quotas for intermediate and college levels.

This means that the regulations on college admissions will basically remain stable this year, as state management of vocationaleducation has been transferred from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to the Ministry of Education and Training from March 1, 2025.

However, the Ministry of Education and Training encourages colleges to participate in the common admission system with higher education to expand the admission information channel, on a voluntary basis and in compliance with the regulations for coordinating the safe and effective operation of the system.
