Ambassador Hoang Huu Anh presents his credentials to the Chairman of the Yemen Presidential Council

Ambassador Hoang Huu Anh pledged to make every effort to contribute to the continued development of the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Yemen in the coming time.

Ambassador Hoang Huu Anh presented his credentials to the Chairman of the Yemen Presidential Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi.

On July 16, at Ma'shiq Palace in Aden, the temporary capital of the internationally recognized Government of Yemen, Mr. Hoang Huu Anh, Ambassador of Vietnam to the Republic of Yemen residing in Riyadh, presented the Letter of Credentials of President Luong Cuong to Chairman of the Yemen Presidential Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi.

After presenting his credentials, Ambassador Hoang Huu Anh received the Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, with the participation of Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Mahrami, member of the Presidential Council and Mr. Shaya Mohsin Zindani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Yemen.

Expressing his honor to be appointed as Vietnamese Ambassador to Yemen, Ambassador Hoang Huu Anh pledged to make every effort to contribute to the development of the friendly relations between Vietnam and Yemen in the coming time, and informed about the visit to Vietnam by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Yemen (July 16-19) and the MOU to establish a political consultation mechanism between the two Foreign Ministries that was signed during this visit.

Ambassador Hoang Huu Anh respectfully conveyed the regards and invitation of President Luong Cuong to the Chairman of the Presidential Council to visit Vietnam and attend the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime (Hanoi Convention) (October 25-26, 2025).

For his part, Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, sent his regards to President Luong Cuong and thanked him for his sincere greetings, affirming that the Vietnam-Yemen relationship has a history of more than 60 years since Vietnam was in the period of resistance against invaders.

Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi expressed his admiration for Vietnam's achievements after 50 years of national reunification, and expressed his hope that Yemen will learn valuable lessons from Vietnam on post-war national reconstruction and development.
