Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visits veteran journalists

Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia came to burn incense in memory of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and journalist Huu Tho; and visited Mr. Dinh The Huynh and journalist Ha Dang.

On the afternoon of June 18, in Hanoi, the delegation of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission led by Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia visited and congratulated veteran journalists on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia and the delegation came to burn incense in memory of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at his private home.

During his 80 years of life and 57 years of Party membership, in all positions serving the Party, the country and the people, no matter what position he held, Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong always paid special attention to building a revolutionary press.

Coming to burn incense for journalist Huu Tho, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central Ideology-Culture Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, and the delegation commemorated the exemplary and devoted work of a great journalist, an excellent political writer of the revolutionary press, who made many contributions on the ideological and cultural front.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission affirmed that today's generations of journalists always respect, continue and promote the ideological values, ethics and journalistic style left by previous generations; continue to study, practice, maintain their mettle, strongly innovate, and contribute to building a professional, humane and modern revolutionary press.

On the same day, visiting and congratulating Mr. Dinh The Huynh, former member of the Politburo , former Standing member of the Secretariat, former Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper and journalist Ha Dang, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central Ideology and Culture Department, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his gratitude to the journalists who have made many contributions to the revolutionary journalism career, contributing to the development of the country's press in particular and the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in general.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia informed about some activities of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission in the past time and some key tasks in the coming time.

Wishing the veteran journalists good health, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission hopes that the veteran journalists will continue to promote their revolutionary spirit and valuable experience, make many contributions to the country's journalism, pass on their passion for the profession to the younger generation to learn, and be worthy of the role of journalism as the voice of the Party and State, and the forum of the people.

Veteran journalists were moved when the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visited and congratulated them on the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press; and expressed their impression of the strong development of the country's press with its pioneering role on the ideological and cultural front, making great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

The journalists affirmed that they will continue to promote the tradition of revolutionary journalism, participate in educating the younger generation, and actively contribute to the development of professional, humane, and modern journalism in particular, and the development of the country in general.

On the same afternoon, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission delegation led by Central Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Tat Thang visited and congratulated Nhan Dan Newspaper and Communist Magazine on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Sending best wishes to the collective leadership, cadres, reporters, editors, technicians, and workers of Nhan Dan Newspaper and Communist Magazine, the Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the team of cadres, reporters, and editors in maintaining political orientation, constantly innovating content and forms of expression, contributing to strongly spreading the Party's policies and guidelines, vividly reflecting social life and the thoughts and aspirations of the people.

Faced with increasingly high demands on the press, the Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission hopes that Nhan Dan Newspaper and Communist Magazine will continue to promote their pioneering and core roles in the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation and refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints; at the same time, he expressed his belief that the two agencies will continue to develop strongly, innovate further in content and technology, and contribute to the revolutionary press system in successfully carrying out political tasks in the new period.

Mr. Pham Tat Thang affirmed that the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission is ready to accompany and create favorable conditions for press agencies to continue to excellently fulfill their assigned political tasks, making practical contributions to the cause of protecting, building and developing the country./.
