On the afternoon of August 30, the Ministry of Health provided information on emergency care and medical examination and treatment during the State-level rehearsal of the military parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, which took place on the morning of August 30.
Medical work, emergency care and medical examination and treatment have been urgently and synchronously deployed by the forces, with the coordination of many forces from hospitals under the Ministry of Health, Hanoi Department of Health, Military Medical Department (Ministry of National Defense), and Health Department ( Ministry of Public Security ).
Statistical reports show that nearly 500 cases were treated medically , including 40 severe cases that had to be transferred to hospital promptly.
Medical staff of units under the Hanoi Department of Health alone received and treated 213 cases, of which 19 were determined to be severe and transferred to the hospital for further intensive treatment.
The Military Medical Force has treated 95 cases, of which 14 cases had to be transferred to the hospital. Notably, among these, 1 police officer was treated stably and returned to his unit, while the remaining 94 cases were civilians.
As for the transfer group, 1 case was taken to Military Hospital 354 and 13 cases were taken to Xanhpon General Hospital.
The Public Security Medical Unit received 142 cases, including 10 police officers, 130 civilians and 2 foreigners; 4 serious cases were transferred to Hanoi Heart Hospital.
Bach Mai Hospital received and treated 10 cases, of which 3 serious cases were transferred to A9 Emergency Center.

Viet Duc Friendship Hospital received 15 cases, none of which required transfer. The patients included 1 soldier in the parade team, 1 veteran and 13 civilians.
E Hospital received 9 cases, no serious cases.
The final hospitals under the Ministry of Health and the Hanoi Department of Health such as Bach Mai, Viet Duc Friendship, Hanoi Heart and Xanh Pon General Hospital promptly received and ensured the health safety of officers, soldiers and people participating in and watching the rehearsal.
The medical work at the A80 rehearsal showed initiative, responsibility and smooth coordination between units, contributing significantly to the overall success of this particularly important political and social event.
Previously, to ensure medical work for the A80 event, the Ministry of Health issued plan No. 1105/KH-BYT covering all areas related to health, from ensuring food safety, epidemic prevention, possible situations, including issues related to disasters.
The Ministry of Health also mobilized experts and doctors from many leading hospitals such as Bach Mai, Viet Duc, Huu Nghi, E... to participate in medical work for the A80 event.
The A80 Event Medical Response Command Center located at the Hanoi 115 Emergency Center has set up a command room with leaders of the Ministry of Health, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management - Ministry of Health, the Department of Military Medicine, and the Department of Health participating in the operation; 2 landline telephone lines to connect information, equipped with computers, digital maps integrated with GPS, monitors to monitor the progress of the parade, the command radio system and an information reception and processing room with 12 switchboard operators, with a backup analog telephone system that can receive 12 emergency calls at the same time.
At the Center, there are 5 ambulances and 10 vehicles deployed at the Medical Teams, ready to serve emergency work.

The A80 Incident Medical Response Command Center has established a smooth communication channel between departments coordinating medical operations, mobilizing forces, and handling emergency situations. To ensure medical work for the A80 event, the Hanoi Department of Health has assigned tasks, requested hospitals, medical examination and treatment facilities, Hanoi CDC and related units to mobilize 370 medical staff, establish 94 medical working groups, including 51 mobile teams, 37 ambulance crews, 3 food safety teams, and 3 epidemic prevention teams.
Each hospital has 5-10 beds ready to receive patients and an emergency team with an ambulance ready to respond./.
