On September 17, TV Primary School (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat) sent a report to the Ward People's Committee regarding the accusation of using dirty food in boarding meals for students in the 2024-2025 school year.
In the report, Ms. NTQN (Principal of TV Primary School) said that food used for boarding meals for students at the school is imported from 5 suppliers located in the Da Lat area (Lam Vien ward - Da Lat, Lang Biang ward - Da Lat) and Duc Trong.
According to the school representative, these suppliers all have food hygiene and safety certificates. Food imported from these sources will be used to organize meals for 720 students in the 2024-2025 school year.
In the report, the school admitted that during the cooking process, kitchen staff reported that some batches of food "showed unusual signs" such as: boiled meat had a green color, boiled shrimp had black heads, beef "mixed with oil", beef balls showed signs of freezing, and bones had an odor.
Upon receiving the feedback, the food receiving department and the school paid the supplier or replaced the dish. As for the beef balls, after the accountant discussed with the supplier, this side explained that after steaming, they would put them in the refrigerator for preservation, so the school still allowed the kitchen to use them.

In the case of "boiled meat turning green", the school invited an inspection team and noted that "there were no unusual signs". All food was sealed and stored in the medical room's refrigerator.
Regarding the information about "beef with oil", the supplier explained that when cutting with a machine, a little cooking oil must be added to prevent the meat from sticking to the blade. The school confirmed that it had signed a contract to purchase fresh food to ensure quality and food hygiene and safety.
Handling complaints and denunciations in accordance with the correct procedure
On the morning of September 17, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province requested the authorities to handle the petition "accusing the principal of TV Primary School for the 2024-2025 school year of signing a contract with a food supplier that did not ensure quality to serve the boarding work at the school" in accordance with legal procedures.
As reported by Tuoi Tre Online , at noon on September 16, many parents took their children out of TV Primary School, refusing to eat lunch because they were concerned about dirty food.
Previously, on the evening of September 15, social networks appeared with many images said to be of food used at the school for students' meals. Along with the images was a petition sent to the authorities requesting clarification of the quality of the students' meals as well as the school's responsibility related to ensuring the quality of food for students' meals.
The petition stated: During the 2024-2025 school year, the TV Primary School's canteen repeatedly received food that did not meet quality standards, and pork and beef that showed signs of spoilage, spoilage, and odor. Despite complaints from the catering staff and teachers, the school's leadership was still indecisive in handling the situation, causing parents to worry about the health of their students.
