In her transcript, the female student had 3 subjects with perfect scores (10/10): Leadership and personal development skills; Human resource management; Probability theory and mathematical statistics. Her graduation thesis scored 9.4 points; her average score for 4 years was 3.98/4.0.
With this result, the female student from Hanoi became the valedictorian of the Advanced Program in International Business Administration of Foreign Trade University in the 2025 graduation season (2021-2025 course).
Nga Anh shared that she was very happy and surprised when she became the valedictorian because not only in her department but also in her class, there were many good friends.
Achieving today's results, Nga Anh said, she doesn't spend too much time at the desk but mainly studies to satisfy her own curiosity.
“When it comes to being a valedictorian or having high scores, people probably think that I have to spend all my time studying, but in fact it is different. I even hang out with friends quite a lot. Studying for me is not a ‘must do’, I don’t force myself to cram knowledge but really love it. I study in the direction of wanting to learn about things I am curious about, to clearly understand the nature of problems and knowledge,” Nga Anh shared.
With the knowledge that teachers teach in class, Nga Anh always writes down the main content.
Starting out as a student at the High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences - Hanoi National University, Nga Anh believes that perhaps her strengths and special features are math skills and logical thinking.

Nga Anh said she is the type of person who wants to do everything as well as possible. She doesn't study much, but when she does, she concentrates the most to absorb and remember knowledge quickly.
“The same goes for exam preparation. Instead of spending the whole day studying, I will study for a certain period of time each day, follow the discipline of concentration and see the results,” Nga Anh shared, adding, “I don’t want to spend every day just sitting and studying. That would be very boring.”
Nga Anh always considers each group assignment and each exam an opportunity to approach new areas of the economic sector, thereby expanding her worldview.
With her constant efforts, Nga Anh has excellently "reaped" a series of impressive academic and extracurricular achievements, becoming a typical face of the Faculty of Business Administration.
She won the Second Prize in the Faculty-level Student Scientific Research Competition in the 2024-2025 school year; the Encouragement Prize in the School-level and Faculty-level Student Scientific Research Competition in the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years.
Nga Anh also received a scholarship to encourage studying for all 7/7 semesters - the maximum level, which is very difficult to achieve at Foreign Trade University.
Besides studying, Nga Anh spends time hanging out with friends and watching movies. She especially enjoys traveling.

For Nga Anh, Foreign Trade University is a place that helps her discover and develop her hidden potential. “In an environment that respects differences and brings together talented individuals in many fields, it helps me to constantly broaden my perspective and enrich my worldview. From strong subjects such as calculus and logic to art projects or creative exercises, my learning journey at school gradually shapes the way I approach problems,” Nga Anh shared.
Nga Anh believes that graduating with honors does not mean she is the best, but simply the best in terms of scores, and she will have to continue to make more efforts in the next steps.
Sharing her plans, Nga Anh said that in the coming time, she will focus on completing her application to study abroad for a master's degree. During that preparation, she will apply to a bank or a financial consulting company to gain experience and practical experience.
