In recent days, social networks have been fascinated with the photo series of the "oasis" Phuoc Giang (Hoa Xuan commune, Dak Lak province) by photographer Huynh Le Vien Duy (45 years old), head of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Phu Yen province (old).

From above, the small village with bright red tiled roofs, nestled among seafood ponds, looks like a strange painting. As soon as the photo series of the "oasis" village was shared on social networks, a large number of users interacted, expressing their love and interest.

A photo series about Phuoc Giang village was just taken by Huynh Le Vien Duy on the morning of September 14, 2025. Interspersed with it are a few photos of this "oasis" that he took several times before.

"I like to travel around the province to find new angles. However, discovering Phuoc Giang village was completely different. While searching for potential photography locations using Google Maps, I accidentally saw the image of a village isolated in the lower reaches of the Ban Thach River, forming a special "oasis". That image urged me to go there to capture this unique beauty" - Mr. Duy said.

Duy said he was fascinated when he arrived here. Taking photos with a flycam from early morning gave him a different experience of the peace and simple beauty of the village when viewed from above, completely separate from the hustle and bustle of life.

"What I enjoy most is capturing the moment at the beginning of the day, when the light is still very weak, the whole village seems to be immersed in a peaceful sleep," said Duy.

Ms. Truong Thi Kim Thoa - head of Phuoc Giang village - said that the whole village has about 118 households, people mainly raise shrimp. The whole village has only one main road. During the rainy season, Phuoc Giang often becomes an "oasis" because of flooding on all sides, people can only travel by boat or river.

"This village has been around for a long time. Although people still have to work hard, everyone loves life and helps each other," said Mrs. Thoa.
