
Through the report of Tien Phuoc Regional Medical Center, the Department of Health acknowledged the unit's efforts to maintain medical examination and treatment in difficult conditions.
The total number of medical examinations in the first 6 months of 2025 at the center reached 46,777, an increase of 8.6% over the same period in 2024. Of which, the district level (old) increased by more than 900 visits, and the commune level increased by nearly 3,000 visits.
Inpatients increased by 69.8% (from 1,732 to 2,941 people), bed occupancy reached 126.6%. To date, the center has been assigned 130 beds.

Regarding personnel work, the Department of Health noted that the center is operating in a shortage of key leadership positions; it is recommended to promptly propose personnel to carry out procedures to appoint the center director and add heads and deputy heads of departments and offices to perfect the organizational structure.
The department's leaders also acknowledged the shortage of human resources, especially highly qualified doctors; and said they would report to the City People's Committee for appropriate direction.

The leaders of the Department of Health noted a shortage of many essential medical equipment in departments and rooms such as X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, anesthesia machines, resuscitation equipment, etc.
Methadone treatment facilities have degraded, affecting the security and safety of patients; there is a lack of external ambulances and official vehicles... The Department of Health requested the center to review and compile a report to send to the department for consideration.
Doctor Le Van Nhuoc, Deputy Director in charge of Tien Phuoc Regional Medical Center, affirmed that the center's efforts aim at the goal of "putting patients at the center of all activities".
In the coming time, the center hopes to receive leadership, timely investment in equipment and human resources to improve the quality and effectiveness of treatment, contributing to good health care for the people.

During the working trip, the delegation of the Department of Health visited the model of “Reading Cultural Space” for patients and doctors of the center from social mobilization sources. The leaders of the department acknowledged and highly appreciated this creative model and proposed to study and replicate it.
