China rehearses for third parade

China's third military parade rehearsal to prepare for the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japanese fascism in World War II has ended successfully.

CGTN quoted information from the event's media center as saying that the third parade rehearsal to prepare for the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japanese fascism in World War II took place at Tiananmen Square in Beijing (China) from 5:00 p.m. on August 23 to 5:00 a.m. on August 24.

The organizers said this was a comprehensive rehearsal and the final rehearsal before the official celebration scheduled to take place on September 3.

All processes are organized in order, closely linked and achieve the set goals.

Previously, China held the second parade rehearsal from 5:30 p.m. on August 16 to 3:30 a.m. on August 17 at Tiananmen Square, with the participation of about 40,000 people, including drill participants and on-site support staff.
