In this year's tobacco crop, most households use varieties GL6, TL16, C91,... These are tobacco varieties with high productivity, quality and resistance to pests and diseases. Currently, tobacco is in the harvest season, the purchase price of grade 1 tobacco is about 65 thousand VND/kg. With stable prices, many households have an income of 50 - 60 million VND/year, their lives have improved significantly.

To improve the quality and economic value of tobacco, local authorities have stepped up propaganda and mobilized people to maintain and expand tobacco growing areas. At the same time, they have guided the application of science and technology in planting, caring for, and introducing high-yield varieties for cultivation and intensive farming; and have paid attention to orienting and guiding people to improve their firewood-saving drying kilns or to convert to suitable fuels.
