Thuy's husband, Nguyen Xuan Trong (33 years old), and his fellow Dak Lak native Nguyen Quoc Tuan (39 years old) were also prosecuted for "receiving property obtained through criminal acts".

It is known that Thuy has 3 previous convictions for theft and gambling, in 2 of which Thuy was granted a suspended sentence because she is raising a child under 36 months old.

Taking advantage of the State's humanitarian policies, Thuy continuously got pregnant and gave birth, specifically in 9 years, from 2015 until now, she gave birth to 6 children in a row to cope.

And this woman continues to make a living as a professional thief, using the trick of bringing her child along to cover her tracks, roaming the streets, looking for anyone who is not showing an eye and then striking.

Recently, Thuy took her young child to a coffee shop on Le Quang Dinh Street, Binh Thanh District. Taking advantage of the staff not paying attention, Thuy stole an iPhone, then quickly took her child outside, got into Thanh's waiting car and escaped.

Upon receiving the report, the police began investigating and extracted security cameras to identify them. The police determined that in just 2 days, Thuy and Thanh had committed 5 thefts in Binh Thanh District, District 12 and Thu Duc City. With the stolen property being phones, Thuy gave them to her husband, Nguyen Xuan Trong, to sell to Nguyen Quoc Tuan.

Police believe that Thuy and her accomplices are professional thieves, committing crimes in many areas, so they are continuing to expand the investigation.
