Legal aid and legal advice for the elderly

On June 6, the Provincial State Legal Aid Center (Department of Justice) coordinated with Phu Dinh commune (Dinh Hoa) to organize a communication session on legal aid and legal advice for the elderly and other subjects eligible for free legal aid.

The Center's assistants disseminate and propagate the role, purpose and nature of legal aid activities and legal advice for the elderly.

Here, leaders of the Commune People's Committee, the elderly and a large number of people in Phu Dinh commune were informed and propagated by the Center's staff and experts about the role, purpose and nature of legal aid and legal consultancy activities for the elderly; the State's policies and laws for the elderly and the elderly facing financial difficulties.

At the same time, participants were able to learn and disseminate legal regulations on issues directly related to daily life such as: Marriage and family; property transfer and inheritance; complaints and denunciations; regimes and policies for people with meritorious services and social protection beneficiaries; distribution of leaflets and brochures on legal propaganda...

In addition, assistants and lawyers also answer questions, concerns and provide legal advice to those requesting legal aid and legal advice to the elderly on areas that people are facing in life.
