What are the highlights of the Exhibition of Achievements in Science and Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation?

The exhibition of achievements in science , technology, innovation and digital transformation opens from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition and Fair Center (VEC), Dong Anh (Hanoi).

The event, hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology , is part of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The exhibition aims to recreate the 80-year journey of contributions of the Science and Technology sector, the Post and Telecommunications sector with three pillars: Science and Technology - Innovation - Digital transformation in the cause of independence, unification, construction, protection and development of the country; affirming the fundamental role, the key driving force of the sector in developing productive forces, enhancing endogenous capacity, national competitiveness and creating a sustainable future in the digital age.

Through a modern presentation format, combining data, images, artifacts and technology, the Exhibition affirms and honors the glorious history, spirit of service, continuous innovation and future aspirations of the Vietnamese Science and Technology sector. This is also an opportunity to inspire the younger generation, arouse national pride, faith in Vietnamese intelligence and promote the spirit of innovation throughout society.

The exhibition will recreate the country's 80-year development journey through the lens of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation with 01 central area and 05 content sub-areas, corresponding to 05 historical periods.

The central section is the area that introduces and creates an overall identity for the entire exhibition space. This is where the theme, guiding ideology and content structure of the entire exhibition are introduced, contributing to connecting the display sections in a continuous timeline, ensuring systematicity and effectiveness in guiding the visitor experience.

5 Timeline zones are designed in an open space direction, integrating diverse displays including: Books, posters, models, artifacts and typical science and technology products, combined with projection, search and digital data equipment. The introduction and display of posters and books are integrated in each zone according to the historical content.

Along with that is information about leaders of the science and technology, Information and Communications (Post, Telecommunications...) sectors through the periods and typical scientists and will be designed to be integrated visually in the sub-areas and arranged with separate lookup points. Some sub-areas are integrated with devices to access the national database on science and technology (vista.gov.vn) to increase interaction and spread knowledge values.

Zone 1: Resistance and nation building period (1945-1954).

Zone 2: The period of Liberation of the South, National Reunification and Building Socialism in the North (1954-1975).

Zone 3: Pre-Renovation Period (1975-1986).

Zone 4: Renovation and Integration Period (1986-2025).

Zone 5: New Era (from 2025 onwards).

The event is expected to provide the public with a comprehensive view of the journey of science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation, while also arousing pride and aspiration to continue innovating in the digital age. In parallel with the exhibition, the Forum "Future of Science and Technology, Innovation and National Digital Transformation" will take place on the morning of August 29 at VEC./.
