With the spirit of mutual love and sharing the difficulties that people in flood-hit areas are suffering, on the evening of July 27, a volunteer group of 10 members of the North - Central - South Drivers Association in Lao Cai (formerly Yen Bai ) traveled all night, traveling hundreds of kilometers without stopping to Nghe An at 5:30 a.m. on July 28.
Immediately after arriving, the delegation directly delivered relief gifts to two areas, Tuong Duong and Ky Son districts. These are two of the localities that suffered the most damage in this flood.

In the two localities, the delegation presented a total of 1,380 gifts (including 5 tons of goods and essential necessities) to the people.

The meaningful work of the relief team of the North - Central - South Drivers Association in Lao Cai area is not only material support, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement in times of trouble, contributing to helping people overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
According to the quick report No. 58 of the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Nghe An province, by 10:00 a.m. on July 28, dozens of communes in the districts of Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Que Phong, Con Cuong, Quy Chau (old) ... were severely affected. Some places are still completely isolated.
As of the time of reporting, nearly 15,000 households have been affected by floods, many of which have had to be urgently evacuated. More than 3,500 people have been brought to safety, but life remains extremely difficult as food, clean water, and medicine are scarce. Many roads are inaccessible by conventional means.
