“Changemakers” is not just a competition, but an innovative community development model. The project encourages people to identify local social problems and propose practical solutions, thereby forming highly applicable community initiatives.

The contest attracted more than 50 entries from 31 communes in Thanh Hoa, Phu Tho, and Tuyen Quang provinces, reflecting the deep concern of the people for issues such as environment, education , infrastructure, and life. The 6 best initiatives were selected and funded for practical implementation, bringing about tangible changes to the community.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Park Dong Chul, Chief Representative of Good Neighbors in Vietnam, said that the “Changemakers” project is one of the joint efforts to enhance the sustainable participation of local people. Each group of authors has been working silently every day to turn ideas into actions.

Mr. Park Dong Chul believes that big changes always start from small things. Sustainable development cannot be achieved without sincere listening, open cooperation and trust in each other. We will continue to accompany each other on the upcoming journey, together creating more positive and sustainable changes for the community.

Through this journey, the group not only matured but also gained more faith in the power of sharing and action. Each member understood that anyone can become a change maker if they dare to think, dare to do and always turn to the community with a sincere heart.
