The training course focuses on the following topics: Ethnic minorities in Vietnam; implementing the Party's viewpoints and policies on ethnic affairs; some State policies on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; preserving and promoting the values and cultural identities of ethnic minorities to meet the requirements of sustainable development; promoting the role of the grassroots political system in socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; some new issues on national defense and security in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; some basic issues on the Army's participation in resolving complex situations in ethnic minority areas.

In his opening speech, Colonel Ha Van Nam, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of Company 74, said that Company 74 is an economic-defense unit stationed and performing tasks in remote areas and ethnic minority areas. During more than 50 years of construction and development, the company has always received support and assistance from local Party committees, authorities and people, especially ethnic minorities in the area. To show gratitude to the people, the company has implemented many movements, programs and models to create jobs, sustainable livelihoods, and improve the material and spiritual life of the people.

This ethnic knowledge training course is one of the practical activities to foster knowledge and skills in conducting mass mobilization work for the company's staff. It serves as a basis for propagating and mobilizing people to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws. Successfully implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, national target programs, associated with consolidating and strengthening national defense and security in the area.

The Party Secretary of Company 74 requested that the Party Committees, commanders, and staff participating in the training course must strictly comply with the company's regulations and training plans, and be proactive and self-disciplined in their studies. In particular, the reporters must carefully study the documents, update new knowledge and practical situations to prepare lesson plans, and use appropriate teaching methods that are "easy to understand, easy to remember, and easy to absorb"...

After the opening, the training class will start studying the content. The training period will end on August 3, 2025.
