Techcombank has just been honored by Asian Banking & Finance (ABF) as “Best Domestic Retail Banking in Vietnam 2025” at the Retail Banking Awards 2025. This is the fourth consecutive year that Techcombank has received this prestigious award from ABF, recognizing the bank’s achievements in product innovation, digital transformation, customer experience and commitment to sustainable development. The judging panel includes senior experts from leading financial consulting firms such as Bain & Co., Boston Consulting Group, EY, KPMG and PwC.

Techcombank - Best Domestic Retail Bank in Vietnam 2025

Techcombank representatives - Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of Retail Banking and Ms. Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Director of Retail Banking, received the award on behalf of the bank at the award ceremony held on July 3, 2025 at Marina Bay Sands Convention & Exhibition Center, Singapore.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan shared: “ It is an honor for Techcombank to continue to be honored as the Best Domestic Retail Bank in Vietnam for the fourth consecutive year. This award is a testament to Techcombank’s ‘customer-centric’ strategy, spirit of continuous innovation, as well as its strong commitment to promoting sustainable development and commitment to a green Vietnam. We will continue to adhere to the vision of “Being better every day”, putting customer care as the guiding principle for all actions to bring more and more meaningful experiences, as well as realizing the vision of “Transforming the financial industry, enhancing the value of life” that the bank pursues.

As the “Best Domestic Retail Bank of the Year” for four consecutive years , Techcombank has demonstrated its outstanding efforts and capabilities by consistently pursuing a “customer-centric” strategy, investing heavily in digital transformation and providing superior digital banking products and experiences. In recent times, the bank has accelerated the launch of pioneering products for individual customers, especially Techcombank Automatic Profit 2.0, Techcombank Rewards loyalty ecosystem and Techcombank Visa Eco card.

Techcombank Automatic Profit is a breakthrough product that helps individuals and businesses generate income from idle cash flow. In November 2024, Techcombank introduced the upgraded version 2.0 - with new features such as no minimum or maximum balance limit, helping more customers access the product, while implementing account synchronization to allow customers to generate higher profits from idle cash.

Techcombank Rewards is the largest loyalty ecosystem in the Vietnamese banking industry, allowing customers to accumulate reward points when transacting within the ecosystem with more than 320 partner brands and more than 16,000 stores nationwide. Currently, Techcombank Rewards has more than 10.6 million active users, contributing to increasing the connection between the bank and customers through the integration of financial services into daily life.

Techcombank's Visa Eco Debit Card is the first product to be launched in Vietnam, allowing individual customers to track the amount of CO₂ generated from each transaction and easily offset those emissions through supporting green projects. Within just 6 months of its launch in November 2024, more than 626,000 customers have registered for Visa Eco Debit cards, contributing to offsetting 146,000 kg of CO₂ through reforestation and climate change response projects. In addition, the Visa Eco Credit card was also recently launched by Techcombank, contributing to realizing the commitment for a green and sustainable Vietnam.

On that journey, Techcombank is redefining financial services with a superior ecosystem, designed to integrate seamlessly, delivering superior experiences through strong investment in advanced technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and Big Data. In particular, Techcombank's modern "data brain", connected to an AI-powered marketing technology system, allows the bank to accurately identify each customer and create more hyper-personalized experiences than ever before. From unique, highly relevant personal financial management advice and suitable product recommendations, to digital marketing campaigns that are personalized down to the last detail, Techcombank is applying data and AI to bring increasingly practical and meaningful experiences to customers.

Pioneering digital- led products and personalized experiences have helped Techcombank build one of the most digitally engaged customer bases in the global banking industry, with 91% of transactions conducted online and each digital banking app user logging in an average of 55 times per month.

At the end of the year, market research firm NielsenIQ recorded that Techcombank's Brand Health Index (BEI) ranked first among Vietnamese banks, with an increase of more than 61% in 2024. In the first quarter of 2025, Techcombank continued to maintain its leading position in the industry in BEI for the second consecutive quarter. Techcombank also achieved a 91 point for the Net Promoter Score (NPS), ranking second among banks in Vietnam. These scores reflect customers' deep trust in the Techcombank brand, as well as their willingness to recommend Techcombank to their acquaintances.
