Over 67 years of establishment and development, Dalat University has trained thousands of bachelors, engineers, masters and doctors, many of whom are holding important positions in the country's economic and social life.

Currently, the school has more than 14,000 students studying in 40 undergraduate majors, 11 master's majors and 7 doctoral majors, belonging to 3 majors: Natural Sciences - Technology, Social Sciences - Humanities and Economics - Law - Tourism - Foreign Languages - Information Technology.
The school currently has 16 specialized departments and nearly 500 staff and lecturers, of which more than 42% have doctoral or associate professor degrees (higher than the national average). The team of young, capable lecturers, well-trained from prestigious domestic and international universities, is a pioneer in scientific research and innovation in teaching methods, inspiring students to learn and have a passion for science.
1,400 students received bachelor's and engineering degrees; of which 480 students achieved excellent or good grades.

The school currently has 14 accredited training programs, of which: 5 programs meet national standards; 8 programs meet quality standards of the Southeast Asian University Quality Assurance Network (AUN-QA). The school expands cooperation with leading universities and research institutes in the US, Japan, Korea, European countries and Australia, contributing to expanding the academic space and improving training quality according to output standards linked to the labor market.
In particular, Decision No. 671/QD-TTg on developing a high-quality training center in Da Lat City for the period 2025-2030 with the goal of developing Da Lat University into one of the two leading training centers in the region in the fields of biotechnology, high-tech agriculture , medicinal materials and health care, atomic and nuclear physics; training and fostering teachers for the locality and region.
The school strives to be among the top 10 prestigious training institutions in the country in some key areas, and to be in the top 100 schools in Southeast Asia.
