In order for the Project to be implemented smoothly, the People's Committee of Tran Yen district requires localities to focus highly and resolutely implement the site clearance work; to develop specific and detailed plans to meet progress requirements, promptly resolve difficulties and problems, in order to further promote the site clearance work in the coming time. Localities need to have specific and detailed plans, a roadmap for implementing the site clearance work to ensure effectiveness, and be determined to achieve the set goals.
The members of the Steering Committee closely follow the areas under their responsibility, direct the communes to implement various solutions in accordance with the provisions of the law, strengthen propaganda, mobilize, persuade people to hand over the land, actively advise the Steering Committee in resolving mechanisms and policies to promptly remove difficulties, obstacles, and make recommendations according to their authority. Tran Yen strives to hand over the land to the investor on schedule.
It is known that the Lao Cai – Hanoi – Hai Phong railway construction investment project passing through Tran Yen district has a total length of over 17.3 km, passing through 3 communes: Quy Mong (5.3 km), Y Can (5.5 km) and Minh Quan (6.58 km). The total land area to be recovered is nearly 155 hectares, mainly production forest land, rice land, aquaculture land and rural residential land. Accordingly, the whole district has 425 affected households, of which 131 households need to be resettled.
To ensure the rights of the people, the district has planned resettlement areas in each commune. In Quy Mong, there are 2 areas in Tan Viet and Tan Cuong villages with a total of nearly 60 plots of land. In Y Can, there are 2 resettlement areas arranged in Quyet Tien and Quyet Thang villages with a total of 40 plots of land. In Minh Quan, Dong Danh resettlement area is planned with 60 plots of land.
