Lowering benchmark scores and recruiting additional students for grade 10 at Hanoi public schools

On the afternoon of July 18, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training issued a decision approving additional admission scores to grade 10 public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year.

DECISION ON ADDITIONAL ADMISSION STANDARD SCORE

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the additional admission scores (round 2) to grade 10 of non-specialized public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year with the following list of 10 high schools:

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, when lowering the admission score, schools are allowed to accept students with second and third wishes who meet the additional admission requirements.

Students who are admitted to the second choice must have an admission score at least 1.0 point higher than the school's standard score for the first choice.

Students who are admitted to the third additional choice must have an admission score at least 2.0 points higher than the school's standard score for the first additional choice.

Time for receiving additional candidate applications is from 8:00 a.m. on July 19 to 5:00 p.m. on July 22. Admission for students admitted based on additional benchmark scores is carried out directly at high schools.
