Cot Pagoda - Nguyen Dynasty Heritage in Modern Life

Cot Pagoda is located in Yen Hoa town (Cau Giay, Hanoi ), Cot Pagoda (also known as Ngoc Quan Tu). Associated with the name of the old village, Cot Pagoda is the affectionate name that locals give to the pagoda which is nearly 400 years old.

Bearing the architectural imprint of the Nguyen Dynasty, Cot Pagoda still retains the traditional beauty of Northern pagodas: curved roofs, moss-covered fish-tail tiles - all creating a peaceful, intimate space. At the end of the 20th century, the pagoda was restored and embellished with massive wooden houses, still faithful to the ancient style, contributing to preserving the Vietnamese soul in the heart of Hanoi, which is changing every day.

YooLife recreates the space of Cot Pagoda - When technology connects heritage

YooLife is known as the pioneering virtual reality social network of Vietnamese people, where users can create and share virtual content, short videos and images on the forum. Built with the expectation of being "a place to store memories - a future meeting place for Vietnamese people", YooLife is associated with the mission of preserving and promoting cultural features, honoring historical values, promoting artistic development, and spreading tourism.

Recently, YooLife brought a vivid digital experience of Cot Pagoda - a nearly 400-year-old ancient temple in the middle of Yen Hoa Street, Cau Giay. Through VR360 technology, viewers can "enter" the temple with just one touch, freely choose a standing point, change the viewing angle, zoom in on details, explore each tile roof, statue, horizontal lacquered board... as if they were present in real space.

Not only stopping at visual images, YooLife also integrates a smart chatbot - acting as a "virtual tour guide" always ready to chat, answer users' questions about the history of the temple, statues, rituals, or the meaning of each architectural detail.

In addition, the multi-point automatic commentary system will automatically play audio when users move to each area in the virtual space - from the three-entrance gate, main hall, ancestral house to the harem.

With a flexible combination of technology and culture, YooLife is opening up a completely new approach to heritage preservation, historical education and tourism promotion, while affirming Vietnam's position on the world virtual reality technology map. This is not only a technological step forward - but also a journey connecting tradition with the future.
