Tra Vinh: Khmer special issue published to 143 Khmer pagodas

On June 11, Tra Vinh Province Literature and Arts Association held a meeting to celebrate the 10th anniversary of publishing and releasing the Tra Vinh Province Khmer Literature and Arts Special Edition.

Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Thien awarded certificates of merit to 5 individuals.

The Tra Vinh Province Khmer Literature and Arts Special Issue is published periodically 4 issues/year, 80 pages, 200 copies printed with genres: poetry, Du Ke works, memoirs... focusing on praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the tradition of solidarity of the 3 ethnic groups Kinh - Khmer - Hoa.

Up to now, the number of special editions has increased to 400 copies and has been distributed to 143 Khmer pagodas in the province, the Southern Khmer Language, Culture - Arts and Humanities School (under Tra Vinh University); ethnic boarding schools in the province; the Provincial Radio - Television Station and the provinces: Soc Trang , Bac Lieu, An Giang, Kien Giang, Hau Giang.

Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Thien acknowledged and highly appreciated the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and the Editorial Board of the special issue for doing a good job of propagating ethnic and religious policies to the Khmer people.

Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Thien requested the Editorial Board to continue to train creative staff, improve political and ideological stance, and at the same time have many articles that deeply and vividly reflect social life, do a good job of social orientation, and actively contribute to stabilizing the political, ethnic and religious situation in the area.

On this occasion, 5 individuals who have made many contributions to the development of the Tra Vinh Literature and Arts Special Edition in Khmer script received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
