Toyota Vietnam accompanies the Opera project 'Princess Anio'

The project is inspired by the true love story between Princess Ngoc Hoa - daughter of Lord Nguyen Dang Trong and Japanese merchant Araki Sotaro. After following her husband to Nagasaki, Japan, the princess received the love of the people and was affectionately called "Anio san". The love story that went down in history 400 years ago is considered a milestone for the good relationship and mutual respect between Vietnam and Japan.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam - Japan relations, this Opera will be broadcast to the world with the aim of passing on the story to future generations as a testament to the good relationship between the two countries.

The project has received attention from leaders and agencies of the two countries. The play will feature a cast of famous artists: General Director Honna Tetsuji; Music composer Tran Manh Hung; Director/Scriptwriter/Lyricist (Japanese) Oyama Daisuke; Lyricist (Vietnamese) Ha Quang Minh; along with artists Dao To Loan and Bui Thi Trang in the role of Princess Anio, artists Kobori Yusuke and Yamamoto Kohei in the role of Araki Sotaro.

After Vietnam, the Opera project "Princess Anio" will be performed in Japan on November 4, 2023.
