Early summer is also the time when the forest comes to life in Cuc Phuong National Park. During the day, visitors can admire thousands of pure white butterflies fluttering in the air or trek through the cool canopy of the old forest. At night, this is the time for flocks of sparkling fireflies to appear and disappear.

From May 4, Cuc Phuong National Park opened a tour by electric car through the forest with a length of about 5km so that visitors can watch fireflies; explore the nightlife in the heart of the forest with activities such as tracking wild animals such as deer, looking for insects and observing rare animals such as pangolins, civets, mongooses, wild cats, otters, lorises...

The tour will take place for about 1.5 hours, from 7pm to 10pm daily.

Starting from the children's experience and creativity area, visitors will travel by electric car with the Park's tour guide, slowly through the forest trail. Here, visitors will be immersed in the enchanting scenery of millions of sparkling fireflies. Along the way, under the tour guide's flashlight, visitors can see individual Sika deer, Deer... and many diverse types of insects.

Mr. Pham Kien Cuong, Director of the Center for EnvironmentalEducation and Services of Cuc Phuong National Park, said that immediately after posting information about the tour opening, the park continuously received contacts from thousands of tourists asking for information to register for the tour.

“On the first day of the tour, there were 20 groups with nearly 100 people participating. We limit the number of participants to about 100 visitors per session to ensure quality and not affect the living environment of animals in the garden,” said Mr. Kien Cuong.
