To achieve a 5-4 win after 6 kicks, helping the Danang University of Physical Education and Sports team win the 2nd ticket (after Hue University team) to the final round in Ho Chi Minh City, goalkeeper Phan Viet Cuong contributed to repelling 2 penalty kicks from the FPT Polytechnic College team.
Goalkeeper Phan Viet Cuong had two brilliant saves, bringing victory to the Danang University of Physical Education team.
Notably, among these 2 pushes, Phan Viet Cuong pushed the 6th shot of the opposing team, contributing to the 5-4 victory in the excited mood of all the fans in the stadium.
This player, born in 2004, joined the Hue Club’s youth team at the age of 12. At the age of 18, Phan Viet Cuong left the Hue youth team because he wanted to pursue a career for the future. Cuong is currently a third-year student majoring in Exercise Science at the Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports.

Previously, Hue University team won the ticket to play in the final round after a narrow 1-0 victory over Duy Tan University team. The only goal scorer of the match was Duong Huu Thai Hoang (number 10), who was also the "top scorer" of the qualifying round with 3 goals and the winner of the best player award.
