The whole province planted more than 5,000 hectares of concentrated forests.

Implementing the 2025 forestation plan, by the end of May, Hoa Binh province had planted nearly 5,098 hectares of concentrated forests, reaching 91.85% of the yearly plan. In May alone, the new forestation area of ​​districts and cities was nearly 3,550 hectares, reaching nearly 64% of the yearly target.

In addition to afforestation, localities have taken care of 2,812 hectares of forest, protected and regenerated nearly 2,200 hectares of natural forest, and organized the recovery of over 1,500 hectares of substandard planted forests for rehabilitation.

Forest management and protection work continues to be strengthened, especially during the peak dry season. Localities have reviewed and developed plans for on-site forest fire prevention and control, while stepping up propaganda, monitoring, and protection of existing forest areas.
