Mobilizing more than 35 trillion VND to build new rural areas

Implementing the National Target Program on new rural construction, from 2010 to present, Long Thanh district has mobilized more than 35 trillion VND to carry out the tasks.

In the period 2010-2015, the total capital mobilized for new rural construction in the district was more than 9.2 trillion VND. During this period, the district selected 4 communes: An Phuoc, Long An, Long Duc and Long Phuoc as focal points for the formation of concentrated agricultural production zones, high-tech agricultural zones, and the shift of labor structure from agriculture to industry and services.

In the period of 2016-2020, the mobilized capital reached more than 1.8 trillion VND. During this period, the district focused on investing in infrastructure development and production in all communes to improve people's quality of life, develop agriculture and rural areas. By the end of 2020, all communes were recognized as meeting new rural standards, including 3 communes: An Phuoc, Long An , Long Phuoc meeting the standards of advanced new rural communes.

In the 2021-2025 period, the total mobilized social resources are more than 24.7 trillion VND. Long Thanh district has completed the target of 100% of communes meeting advanced new rural standards, all 13 communes have received recognition decisions from the Provincial People's Committee.
