Implementing Decision No. 280/QD-TTg dated April 4, 2024 of the Prime Minister approving the Project on organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security (PPP) tradition day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security have organized many commemorative activities to create closeness, accessibility and realism to life, attracting the participation of a large number of people. Speaking at the conference, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang affirmed that the organization of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' tradition day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection must be solemn and meaningful, associated with the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; associated with the new spirit and new expectations of the country after establishing the 2-level local government model; associated with the tasks of the Public Security work, especially in ensuring security and order to serve the smooth operation of the 2-level local government.
The Minister of Public Security requested ministries, departments, branches, central and local agencies, based on the assigned tasks in Decision No. 280/QD-TTg, to continue to coordinate in organizing commemorative activities to ensure effectiveness and progress with the set goals and requirements; especially closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security in organizing the national commemorative ceremony on August 17, 2025 and the 9th "For National Security" Emulation Congress in early August 2025.
