Domestic coffee price forecast on June 25, 2025

International coffee price forecast June 25, 2025
According to the latest forecast from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), the 2025-2026 coffee crop year will witness a slight increase in global production. Vietnam is expected to reach 31 million bags, up 7% compared to the previous crop year. Brazil, the world's largest coffee producer, will reach about 65 million bags, up slightly by 0.5%.
Reasons for the plummeting domestic coffee prices
Short-term oversupply pressures are mounting, especially as the consumption market shows no signs of improvement. Indonesia is expected to harvest around 11.25 million bags, of which robusta accounts for 9.8 million bags and arabica accounts for 1.45 million bags. In Honduras, coffee production is expected to reach 5.8 million bags, up 5.1%.
Note for coffee growers
Experts recommend that coffee growers focus on improving bean quality, paying attention to deep processing and expanding the domestic market. Relying solely on traditional exports can easily make the coffee industry passive in the face of international fluctuations. Farmers also need to take advantage of the opportunity to flexibly switch crops in low-yield areas and strengthen cooperation with processing enterprises to increase product value.
